MiniCPM-V 2.6 achieves mobile multimodal performance via Lookahead Expert Scheduling

MiniCPM-V 2.6 uses Lookahead Expert Scheduling (LES) to run a 35B-A3B Mixture-of-Experts model on mobile devices with approximately 3GB of memory. The architecture also introduces Self-Replay Fine-Tuning (SRFT) to enable task-specific customization without degrading general reasoning capabilities.
