Thomson Reuters Launches Thomson Proprietary Frontier Model

Thomson Reuters released Thomson, an in-house large language model trained on $40 million of investment using an open-source foundation. The model is designed to operate at lower inference costs than typical frontier models while maintaining full proprietary control over training data and weights.
