Robot Achieves Cross-Lingual Handwriting Transfer

Brown University researchers demonstrated a robot capable of learning to hand-write Japanese characters and successfully transferring that skill to English, Hindi, and Greek. The system can replicate various styles, including print and cursive, through visual imitation.
