An audit of 458 domains across 38 sectors shows that while only 8.9% of sites block AI crawlers, 94.8% are never cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity. Only 1.9% of assistant answers for buying-intent queries included the specific business being audited.
