Kinney Drugs is reverting its incoming patient call system to a traditional touch-tone interface following reports of incoherent responses and incorrect medication dosages. While the company maintains the Burt AI assistant is HIPAA compliant, the bot's role is being restricted to outbound, opt-in text communications for prescription refills.
