German Bundeswehr Uses AI to Screen Applicants for Right-Wing Extremism

The Assisted Constitutional Loyalty Check (uVTP) system uses AI to scan applicant internet activity for extremist content propagation and social media following. Developed by MAD and a private IT partner, the tool has screened tens of thousands of Bundeswehr candidates, resulting in a low three-digit number of rejections.
