RibAssist 3D: Biplanar Rib-Fracture Detection, Addressing, and Selective 3D Localization from CT-Derived Projections

RibAssist 3D triangulates 3D rib fracture locations using orthogonal anteroposterior and lateral CT-derived projections. The method achieves a median localization error of 4.0 mm, with 93.6% of points being rib-exact. While 61.1% of fractures are available in dual views, cross-view correspondence confidence remains the primary bottleneck for recovery.
