PAIR framework bridges perception and action in VLA models
October 5, 2026
PAIR learns a shared representation between visual-language observations and continuous robot actions using a Masked Action Autoencoder. It generates Bridge Tokens that align task-relevant visual features with latent action tokens to improve the transition from perception to execution.
