Deepfake Detector Accuracy Drops to 2% Under Adversarial Perturbations

Evaluations of twenty deepfake detectors against ten generators show accuracy declining from 99.5% to 76% over time. Adversarial perturbations further degrade performance to below 2%, suggesting that content provenance cannot rely solely on visual artifacts.
