CARE Evaluates Acceleration-Induced Failures in VLA Models
October 5, 2026
CARE introduces a framework for measuring when vision-language-action model acceleration techniques, such as visual-token pruning, cause task failures. It uses paired rollouts from identical initial conditions to detect deviations where an accelerated policy fails despite a reference policy succeeding.
