Multi-hop RAG Amplifies ASR Errors in Speech-Based Pipelines

Empirical testing shows that multi-hop RAG extensions, such as entity-graph linking and iterative reformulation, amplify upstream ASR errors. In some cases, the F1 gap between clean text and high-WER speech increases by up to 67% compared to naive RAG.
