Single-Token Classification Improves Proactive Egocentric Intervention Timing

A wearable AI system for ECCV 2026 uses single-token classification to decide whether to intervene during egocentric video segments. Reformulating intervention timing from free-form generation to predicting 'yes' or 'no' tokens increased macro-F1 by 0.249 and G-mean by 0.30.
