Semantic Content Drives Text-to-SQL Accuracy More Than Retrieval Scaffolding

A four-arm ablation study on the DABStep benchmark shows that semantic content in context layers is the primary driver of performance. Using a YAML-based data contract, researchers demonstrated that prose content alone improved hard-task accuracy from approximately 14% to 55% across tested models.
