Selective Retrieval Policy Optimizes Mental-Health Question Answering

A lightweight selective retrieval policy is introduced to manage the trade-offs of RAG in mental-health QA. By using QLoRA to fine-tune generators on MentalChat16K, the method controls when retrieval aids psychoeducational needs versus when it may introduce noise.
