The Oligarch Barely Steers Model Collapse in Multi-Model Ecosystems

Simulated ecosystems of 1B to 4B parameter models show that market concentration does not significantly accelerate recursive model collapse. Testing across 3 to 13 players with a 90% dominant market share reveals that collapse speed remains invariant regardless of how unevenly the model output is distributed in the training pool.
