SuTRA Tokenizer Improves Morphological Alignment for Indic Languages

SuTRA is a morphology-aware tokenization algorithm that preserves akshara indivisibility and penalizes merges crossing root-affix boundaries. In Hindi, the method achieves a 34% gain in semantic recoverability and an 8.08 chrF2 improvement in machine translation over BPE.
