Agentic AI translation to Rust optimizes bioinformatics pipelines

Combining agentic AI with static analysis enables the translation of legacy bioinformatics code (Perl, Fortran) into Rust. In a test of the Bascet pipeline, this approach reduced binary size by 80x, decreased build times by 10x, and improved key step performance by over 3x.
