SP-HLM Framework for Humanoid Loco-Manipulation via Sparse-Pose-Driven Interfaces
October 22, 2026
SP-HLM decouples task intent from whole-body coordination by using a sparse-pose-driven interface to connect vision-language-action models with motion generation. An SP-VLA model predicts task-relevant poses and finger positions, which a distilled motion generator then converts into real-time full-body motion.
HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU
●
builderYou can use sparse pose targets to bridge high-level policy intent with low-level whole-body controllers.
●
researcherThis architecture provides a way to separate spatial intent from complex motor coordination in humanoid agents.
