EditVeto: Gated LLM Rewriting for Improved Post-OCR Correction

EditVeto uses a 0.6B-parameter gate to decide whether to keep or revert blocks of text edited by a larger LLM during post-OCR correction. This approach prevents the model from altering correct text while improving overall cMER scores across various Qwen3-based rewriters.
