Empirical Comparison of LLM Replanning and Hierarchical Repair for Travel Agents

An evaluation of itinerary revision methods under resource disruptions shows that LLM-Z3 with Gemini excels at compound-disruption success. In contrast, the IPyHOPPER hierarchical repair method maintains higher plan stability by preserving more of the original itinerary while matching LLM performance in single-disruption cases.
