WIFA Reduces LLM Over-Refusal via Intent-Form Augmentation

The WIFA method pairs wrapped harmful prompts with structurally matched benign counterexamples to prevent surface-form shortcuts. Using A-GCRT regularization, researchers reduced OR-Bench over-refusal from 25.7% to 17.4% in Qwen models.
