Redemption Score framework for multimodal image captioning evaluation

Redemption Score (RS) evaluates image captioning by triangulating Mutual Information Divergence, DINO-based perceptual similarity, and LLM text embeddings. On the Flickr8k benchmark, RS achieves a Kendall-tau of 58.42, providing more holistic assessment than traditional metrics.
