RAG-Stress Diagnostic Protocol for Measuring Misleading Evidence Reliance

RAG-Stress evaluates how misleading retrieved assertions induce models to abandon correct answers. The protocol tests fifteen systems across TriviaQA-RC and HotpotQA by manipulating evidence spans and source priority policies to calculate a Misleading Rate (MR) for models that were previously correct.
