Quantifying geographic domain shift to decouple the geospatial transferability of human mobility flow generation models

Quantifying geographic domain shift provides a metric to measure how differences in geographic feature distributions and spatial structures impact human mobility model transferability. Using a benchmark of census tract commuting flows across 2,265 US counties, the study evaluates four representative generation models to decouple domain shift from model performance.
