Low PPG-to-rPPG recoverability for physiological properties via CHROM

Evaluation of 655 recordings using the CHROM pathway shows that camera-derived rPPG fails to preserve most physiological properties from contact PPG beyond heart rate. While reproducing a heart-rate MAE of 15.26 bpm, the method showed nearly zero correspondence for spectral, recurrence-rate, and maximal Lyapunov exponent measures.
