ProcessPrefBench uses naturalistic human-AI dialogues to evaluate if models can transfer individual process preferences, such as analytical focus or depth, to new tasks without explicit prompting. Testing shows that distilled-preference prompting outperforms target-only prompting in realizing user-specific standards for evidence and procedure.
