Hypernetworks and Steering Vectors for Few-Shot Author Style Transfer
October 5, 2026
Three methods for style-conditioned generation are compared: contrastive activation steering, steering vector prediction, and hypernetworks for predicting LoRA adapters. Hypernetworks achieve the best trade-off between style imitation and output fluency when adapting to new authors using only a few examples.
HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU
●
researcherYou can leverage hypernetworks to mitigate the fluency loss typically seen in fine-tuning for style adaptation.
