Pitch-class Steering for Stable Audio Open via Latent-space Probes

A 125k-parameter convolutional probe enables pitch-class control in Stable Audio Open without retraining. By using the probe's gradients as a differentiable loss during inference, melodic coherence increases by 2.4x compared to unguided diffusion baselines.
