EchoPrompt: Training-Free LLM Detection via Latent Prompt Restoration

EchoPrompt detects machine-generated text by prepending a unified generic prefix to reactivate the hidden dependency on upstream prompts. This training-free method measures induced likelihood gain to identify text produced by the latent generation mechanism of LLMs.
