MemTrapBench Identifies Reasoning and Belief Distortion in LLM Memory

MemTrapBench evaluates how retrieved memories can induce cognitive traps, such as Reasoning Fixation and Belief Distortion, in LLMs. Experiments across five memory frameworks show that all tested strategies underperformed the no-memory setting by degrading current task performance.
