MedDeID achieves 98.9% clinical text de-identification recall

MedDeID is an on-premises framework for clinical text de-identification using a compact transformer. It achieved 98.9% detection of identifiers on a Dutch hospital benchmark and demonstrated high robustness when trained on synthetic data.
