GateRQ Reduces LLM Conditional Memory by 7.8x via Per-Lookup Precision
October 28, 2026
GateRQ uses a 1-bit code to compute gates that scale retrieved rows in conditional memory layers, storing rows as ladders of 1-bit residual codes. On DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash, this reduces GPU table memory by 7.8x and increases vLLM throughput by 11% to 31% compared to FP8.
HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU
●
builderYou can significantly increase inference throughput and reduce memory footprints for models using large hashed n-gram tables.
●
founderThis allows for more cost-effective deployment of high-capacity models like DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash.
