Prosodic and Acoustic Signals Drive End-of-Turn Detection More Than Semantics

A trimodal ablation study shows that acoustic and prosodic features achieve 0.93 utterance F1 with 400ms median latency, while adding semantic text features increases premature detections without improving performance. Prosodic features demonstrate the strongest class separability for turn-taking tasks.
