LeMat-Synth: a multi-modal toolbox to curate broad synthesis procedure databases from scientific literature

LeMat-Synth Parser uses LLMs and VLMs to extract structured synthesis protocols and performance metrics from text and figures in scientific literature. The toolkit generated a dataset of 58,000 procedures across 35 methods and 16 material classes by processing 81,000 open-access publications.
