GITA Method for Long-Horizon Goal-Conditioned Reinforcement Learning
October 2, 2026
Generalized Implicit Temporal Abstraction (GITA) addresses value signal decay in offline goal-conditioned RL. By conditioning a single value function on multiple temporal abstraction scales (k), the method aggregates advantage-weighted supervision to better rank distant state-goal pairs.
