Kronecker Product Attention for Memory-Efficient KV Cache Compression
October 12, 2026
Kronecker Product Attention (KPA) reduces KV cache memory footprints by representing key and value activations as sums of Kronecker products of compact, token-dependent matrix factors. This method generalizes Tensor Product Attention and enables richer block-structured patterns without the expressivity trade-offs found in MQA or GQA.
