KoNeoBench: A Curated Evaluation Dataset for LLM Understanding of Korean Neologisms

KoNeoBench evaluates LLM comprehension of 1,785 Korean neologisms attested in online news since 2020. The dataset uses expert-reviewed word-formation analyses and dictionary-style definitions to test model performance across four specific tasks. It addresses the limitation of static benchmarks in capturing rapid lexical shifts and Korean-specific morphosyntactic structures.
