Scalable parametric weighting for high-value training from noisy data
October 23, 2026
A new approach uses metagradients to learn parametric weighting rules that optimize training-example influence based on a small, high-quality target dataset. These rules generalize to new, streaming examples and allow for efficient knowledge transfer from smaller models to larger ones.
