Deadline-Aware Network Control Using Effective Congestion Metrics

This framework introduces Effective Congestion (EC) metrics and Uniform Path Grouping (UPG) to address sample inefficiency and latency guarantees in DRL-based network control. It enables learning-based controllers to manage delay-sensitive traffic in dynamic, heterogeneous networks more effectively than traditional volume-based routing.
