FedeRICo: Federated Region-Influenced Coupling for Traffic Flow Prediction

FedeRICo addresses heterogeneity in federated spatial-temporal forecasting by combining local sensor subgraphs through region-influenced coupling. Unlike standard parameter aggregation methods that dilute client-specific representations, this framework recovers spatial dependencies across client boundaries to maintain the integrity of traffic dynamics across partitioned road networks.
