Anatomic-Site Aware Masked Transformer for Melanoma Diagnosis

A modular framework for melanoma diagnosis integrates lesion, patient, and population-level data using an anatomic-site aware masked transformer. Using the SIIM-ISIC 2020 dataset, adding lesion location and metadata improved specificity by 17.15% and 7.14% respectively.
