Dynamic Commonsense Coordination for empathetic response generation

The DCC framework improves empathetic response generation by dynamically coordinating commonsense knowledge through residual-based interaction and iterative decoding. On the Empathetic-Dialogues benchmark, DCC shows improved emotion classification accuracy and response diversity compared to the CEM baseline.
