A simulation study using GPT-4o-mini found that distributing triage decisions across a nine-agent pipeline (assessment, allocation, audit) does not reduce demographic bias compared to a single agent. Biased outcomes remained nearly identical at 6.1% versus 6.9% in the control condition.
