Few-Shot LoRA Personalization Degrades Out-of-Scope Intent Rejection

Personalizing on-device assistants via few-shot LoRA maintains in-scope accuracy but causes a mean drop of 0.055 to 0.258 in OOS-rejection AUROC. This degradation stems from a shrinkage in the embedding margin around known intents, leading to miscalibrated confidence scores.
