First Open Speech Language Model for Basque Released

Built on the LLaMA-Omni architecture, this end-to-end spoken interaction model brings low-latency speech capabilities to the Basque language. The system uses synthetic data and a Latxa backbone to achieve a 9.94% WER for spoken intelligibility.
