CruxBench evaluates LLM information discovery via Value of Information

CruxBench measures an LLM's ability to decompose complex problems into high-value subquestions, known as cruxes. The benchmark uses Value of Information (VOI) to grade how much a proposed question updates beliefs about a target forecasting question.
