CRM: Retrieval Model with Controllable Condition

The Controllable Retrieval Model (CRM) integrates target watch time directly into the user tower to steer recommendation outcomes during inference. By decoupling the item tower from the condition, the framework allows for precomputed item embeddings and standard approximate nearest neighbor search. Implementation variants include a two-tower DNN and a Decision Transformer using watch-time-to-go tokens.
