Chunking and Embedding Trade-offs in Chemistry-Specific RAG

A study of 41 embedding models on the ChemQuests benchmark evaluates how document segmentation and representation impact retrieval in chemistry-dense text. The research uses Geom@10 metrics to map the interaction between chunking strategies and embedding performance.
