Breaking the high-degree barrier in Lehmer's problem with a human-AI discovery loop

A human-AI discovery loop overcomes the degree limitations in Lehmer's problem by combining conversational prompting with a numerical pipeline and symbolic verification. This approach moves beyond Boyd's one-parameter family, which skips nearly 50% of target degrees, to construct irreducible polynomials with small Mahler measures for arbitrary degrees $d > 180$.
