Autonomous ML Research Success in Telecom Ticket Retrieval

This study evaluates autonomous end-to-end ML research agents on the open-ended task of telecom ticket retrieval. While agents show proficiency in narrow hyperparameter optimization, they currently struggle with high-dimensional representation and architecture selection in industry-grade settings.
